Hurstead Stud was established in 1961 and has now been breeding horses for 50 years, but during its early days it was open as a well known riding school.

The founder of Hurstead Stud Doreen Bradshaw has bred some magnificent horses which have gone on to win HOYS.

Hurstead Stud is the top Welsh pony stud in lancashire.
Also its one fun livery yard.
